Just put a set of 2009 Taylormade TP irons in the bag. Project X 5.5 is my shaft of choice. I have them set up 2 degrees flat and 1 degree strong on the lofts.
After 63 holes in 100+ degree weather this weekend (Dallas/Ft. Worth area), I'm SOLD!! Wow, what a wonderful set of irons!! I have a lower than most trajectory and I can put these up in the clouds or down on the deck with ease. I have picked up about 1/2 club with higher trajectories and a full club on lower flight shots. Workability is adequate but I hit it left to right with an iron only by accident or under duress :)
Slightly thicker topline than last years TP MB model but it's not distracting at all. Minimal offset makes them attractive to better players but even the 10-15 handicap players in my group really liked the way the club worked for them on the range. Just got off the phone with a 14 that's ordering up a set this evening!
